Do I need special equipment to operate Fulltrack?

Accepted Answer

To track with Fulltrack, you require only a phone tripod (60 inches or above) and an iPhone 8 or above.    If you would like to use the ball tracking, 2 sets of 3 stumps, preferrably white, are highly recommended for accuracy.   If you are simply trying to use the ball by ball video recording, you may use the manual alignment option without requiring stumps.

Where can I setup the phone tripod?

You may place the phone tripod in a variety of locations in the triangular area between the umpire's spot, mid off and mid on. However, for best acuracy, we recommend placing it 10-15 feet directly behind the non-striker stumps.

Can the app work with a batter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Fulltrack is built to work with or without a batsman, so you can use it during drills or in real net sessions.

Can the app work without a proper bowler?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the app will work if there is somebody using a sidearm or simply chucking in deliveries. However, the app will not currently work with a bowling machine.

The ball is not being tracked correctly, what can I do?"

In rare circumstances, Fulltrack's ball tracking may work at lower accuracy. In such cases, the ball by ball video storage AI should still function without concerns. Ball tracking issues are exclusively caused by one of the three below issues:    STUMP MISALIGNMENT   If you have used the automatic stump detector: - Ensure that the stumps are perfectly aligned.    If you have used the manual stump alignment: - Ensure that the virtual stumps align perfectly with the real world stumps.    BOWLER RUNNING DOWN MIDDLE OF PITCH   In some circumstances, the bowler may be running down the middle of the pitch. Fulltrack apart, it is good practice for bowlers to not follow through down the middle of the pitch. Besides being advisable, having bowlers avoid running down the middle of the pitch prevents the ball from being blocked from the camera's view, thereby allowing it to be tracked.    BALL IMPOSSIBLE TO SEE ON BACKGROUND   Fulltrack is built to work with a variety of ball colors on a variety of background colors. However, the greater the contrast between the ball color and the background, the easier humans find it to see the ball, and similarly, the simpler Fulltrack will find it to track the ball. In cases where the ball and background color appear similar, it will help to try a different colored ball or background.

Can Fulltrack be used in net sessions with multiple players?

Accepted Answer

Fulltrack stores ball by ball videos and the associated data with every ball. These can be shared with any other phone (Android or iOS) during or after the session. The "mark" functionality allows players, coaches or parents to individualize the videos and data for any of the players. For instance, Player A may spend 30 seconds to "mark" the 40 balls they bowled in a session and then view their only their pitchmap, videos and analytics.

How do I cancel during my Free Trial?

To cancel, simply request cancellation using the Contact Us page before the end of your Free Trial period. Include your name, phone number and Fulltrack app username.

Can I use Fulltrack on Android?

Accepted Answer

Tracking is currently restricted to iOS devices. An android version is in the works. Viewing the data and video tracked on somebody else's iPhone is however already possible. Fortunately, only one device is required per net session, regardless of how many players, so if somebody on your team has an iPhone, you are all set!
